Top notch dojo! They care about the children learning and understanding of not only karate fundamentals, but basic self respect and discipline which is lacking in most youth today. My granddaughters love attending classes. Kyoshi and Sinsai Coy are fare, but expect the children to put forth the effort required to move forward with their newly learned skills. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of entering their children in karate.

The best Karate school my son and I have ever had the privilege of attending. My son earned his black belt here after many years of hard work and training. They are absolutely excellent with children, reinforcing the invaluable lessons of respect, self discipline and focus. Kyoshi and Sensei Coy are absolutely amazing. Our son attended their dojo for 7 months and learned so much. Not just about Karate, but about respect, appreciation and responsibility. I'd recommend this dojo to anyone, young or old. Well organized, always busy and focused. In addition, they both know ALL of the children's names and make each child feel welcome and involved. Do I need to be in shape before I start Kickboxing?

Short answer; absolutely not! We have members of all health and fitness levels, and our classes are designed to fit around each one of these levels.

The only thing we ask is that you bring your best attitude when you come to one of our classes. If you have the mental framework determined to become physically healthy, that is all we want to see. Our trainers will help you get into the best shape of your life!

Can I lose weight with the Fitness Kickboxing program?

Of course. Although, we must say you get what you put in. If you follow a consistent workout pattern, you are bound to see the results you want. On average, kickboxers burn an average of 820 calories per hour.

Do I need any kickboxing experience?

No, we love teaching new members. There is no better way to gain respect from our community than someone who has the will to join our class without any experience. If you can take that first step, you have already proven to our group that you are a strong-minded individual. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Does the physical training include weights or machines?

Most of the training comes from the natural, isotonic, aerobic, anaerobic, and isometric exercises, although, some weight training may be recommended or used. These exercises help our members with losing weight and toning the whole body; our focus is for you to develop speed, flexibility, and force.

What should I wear or bring?

Sweats and a T-shirt, or yoga attire, work best. We also recommend wearing flat-soled gym shoes to not hurt the arch in your foot. You’ll also want to bring a towel and a bottle of water. And of course bring the mental attitude that you’re going to kill this workout!

How often should I attend classes?

We understand how busy your life can be; we would love to see you at least once a week. We believe once a week will be a good start for you to build your overall endurance and capability to implement the basic kickboxing moves.

Once you have built the basic foundation of the Kickboxing moves, we encourage you to then increase the amount of frequency and intensity of your workouts. We want you to go at your own pace, but make sure to challenge yourself to see the best results.
